This week we made an INCREDIBLE discovery and we have to share it! Burrata made in London!
La latteria (the dairy) was founded a 3 years ago by the talented Simona Di Vietri (who used to be an investment banker by day) and her chief cheesemakers.
The milk comes in fresh every day from Surrey and they then begin the process to make the Burrata and mozzarella in Acton, London.
They have a several products made in the traditional southern Italian way however what makes them different is;
1. They support British farmers
2. Their cheeses are super fresh as they haven’t travelled far
3. They have significantly fewer miles than the imported variety
